How to use the Dashboard as a daily workflow

The Dashboard can be used as a clinician’s daily command center. It brings together the main task categories that typically need attention during the day.

Goal of this workflow

Use the Dashboard to move through your daily work in a structured order so urgent actions are handled first and documentation does not get delayed.

1. Start with the top summary cards

Review the counts for:

  • new patients
  • new messages
  • calls to schedule
  • create treatment program
  • new comments
  • follow up with patients

This gives you a quick picture of today’s workload.

2. Check today’s schedule

Review Today’s schedule before starting outreach or documentation. This helps you plan your day around time-sensitive appointments.

3. Review scheduled calls

Check whether any call tasks are already planned or still need scheduling.

4. Complete documentation tasks

Open Medical notes to sign and work through note tasks early in the day when possible.

5. Check readiness and follow-up lists

Review:

  • Ready for discharge
  • Pending activity logs
  • follow-up-related tasks

This helps identify patients who need action beyond scheduled appointments.

6. Review patient progress goals

Check Monthly goal of enrolled patients if this is part of your clinic workflow.

7. Review earnings and billing summaries

Use the lower dashboard charts and tables to stay aware of recent billing activity and performance.

Tips

  • Use the Dashboard first thing in the morning and again later in the day.
  • Handle notes and pending logs before they accumulate.
  • Use the task counts as a prioritization tool, not just as a summary.
  • If one section repeatedly grows, that usually signals a workflow bottleneck worth addressing.

Common questions or notes

Do I need to work from the Dashboard for everything?
No. The Dashboard is best used as a starting point and daily checkpoint. Many tasks will still be completed in the patient profile, messages, calendar, or billing sections.
